The FLARE Solar Smart Streetlights lead the way with Solar/LED lighting technology.
Offering an industry first, integrated Energy Management System (EMS) which allows the unit to operate for up to 8 days in low sunlight periods, with an approximate three days full autonomy once fully charged.
We have designed the FLARE Solar Smart Streetlights to active via low light and stay on for 10 mins. Should not motion be detected within the 10 min period, the unit will drop to 30% of its brightness indefinitely. Should movement be detected, then units will return back up to full brightness and the cycle will repeat.
Complete with highly efficient mono-crystalline silicon solar panel and in-built, replaceable Lithium-ion long life battery, the FLARE fittings are leading the way with solar/LED lighting technology.
IMPORTANT – These units are solar operated with a 240v power back up. The power back up will allow the unit to operate as a solar light should, but during continuous, low light periods when solar charging is at its least, the units will switch to 240v power mode and operate / charge accordingly. With the high sensitivity of the mono-crystalline silicon solar panel the FLARE units should operate on solar mode for at least 98% of the year, with the 240v back up offering piece of mind should the space type not be able to operate without suitable amount of light.
